Sernam, specialist of express delivery of parcels and pallets, mobilizes every day a national network of 52 branches, 600 road tractions, and 1900 employees to serve its 15,000 customers.

To enhance the performance of its express delivery, Sernam has a range of express services and chartering and implement some innovative technologic solutions to serve its customers. With a long tradition of business services and 40 years of expertise in France, Sernam is also a member of Pan-European Road Express network Eurodis.

  • Sernam and Rhenus Freight Logistics sign an international partnership agreement
  • Opening of the fourth platform at Marseille - Miramas

2008

  • Ongoing renewal of its property stock with the opening of five new branches (Garonor, Le Mans, Angers, Lille, Annecy)
  • 1,300 drivers equipped with a new delivery traceability solution based on a mobile terminal usable by the general public and a barcode reader. This system allows Sernam to ensure feedback from its clients within 15 minutes of delivery
  • Renewed CLIQ certification
  • Renewed ISO 9001:2008 certification for its logistics operation

Opening of two hubs at Bordeaux and Valenton

2006

Butler Capital Partners becomes majority shareholder in Sernam with a 52% holding

2005

Bought in an MBO (Management Buyout) by Philippe Chevalier and his management group, Sernam becomes a private transport and logistics company

2003

  • First Client Relations Certification (CLIQ) achieved in the transport sector
  • First branch opened in Arras, marking the start of an ambitious property project to transform and modernise the network

1999

Sernam becomes the French partner for the Euro Express network: 23 European countries served by a network of eleven independent express transport companies which are leaders in their respective countries

Establishment of Delivery By Night services and national and European deliveries by high-speed train
